Nintendo 3DS eShop Delayed

According to what Nintendo revealed today on Nintendo.com, the new portable game console will have its first mayor update on June 6 for North America and on June 7 for Japanese and European countries. 3DS users will only need to connect to a Wi-Fi network to download the update.Nintendo 3DS

This update will include a brand new Web browser and some new features and enhancements but also adding the eShop feature, here you will be able to get downloadable content and also 3D games. There are no confirmed games that will be available when the eShop opens even thought there are some rumors of a list of games that will be available for download on June 7/8. Also, Capcom revealed that they intend to have Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version ready for this day.

 

The list of possible downloadable content:

DS Ware: Rockman Dash 3 Prologue ($200 yen), Petitcom ($800 yen)
DSi Ware: DSi owners will be able to import DSiWare content onto their 3DS.
3D Classic: Classic games now in 3D: Excitebike, Legend of Zelda y Xevious
Virtual Console GameBoy: Ikari no Yousai, Phantasm
Virtual Console Game Gear: Sonic & Tails 2, Sonic Drift 2, Dragon Crystal, Columns
Virtual Console GameBoy Color: Super Mario Land, The Legend of Zelda DX (Demo)
Virtual Console PC ENgine: Games to be announced
Demos: 3D Video Player, 3D Game Trailer/Previews Channel, Fuji TV and Nippon TV Previews
