It’s a brand new year and all the gamers out there know what that means… more video games. 2012 has been the year most gamers have been waiting for. Not because the world would be ending but there would be tons of video games that will be released that most gamers have been waiting for over a year and we’re counting then down. Here are the most anticipated video games of 2012:

Twisted Metal has been the classical favorite of all those racer gamers out there. Not because it lets you do some drifting and drive as fast as you can, it also allows you to shoot missiles, throw grenades or even burn your opponent using a flamethrower. Twisted Metal would be making its debut on February 14, 2012 on the Playstation 3.

Diablo 3 takes the number four spot in our countdown and would be released on the 3rd month of the year, March 31, 2012. Diablo 3 would offer a different scenario and a lot of improvements that have not been seen on its predecesor. Diablo 3 would be making those PC Geeks a lot addicted on their computers this 2012.

One of the most anticipated games that would be released on Vita, Sony’s latest version of the Playstation Portable. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is set to be released on February 22 and hopefully it would be released a little later when Sony officially releases PSP Vita.

Xbox 360 is back would a highly anticipated video game for gamers who definitely enjoys first person shooter games. Mass Effect 3 is the 3rd installment of the world renowned Mass Effect. Hopefully we get to play with more people and have cooler weapons to use. Mass Effect 3 would be coming to Xbox 360 this March 6 of 2012.

Square Enix have done it again by bringing in the sequel in one of the most acclaimed video game 2010. After the success of its predecessor Final Fantasy XIII, Square Enix already started working on its sequel by adding a new story line on Final Fantasy XIII. This time, new characters, features, and gameplay have been added to make it a lot better.
