New Call Of Duty Elite Information

Many people have feared since the success of Call of Duty games the appearance of an on-line payment related to the saga that could exploit the tremendous success of on-line game in each of the games that have been published under the COD label.

Today, Activision officially announced the service “Call Of Duty: Elite”, a payment service that has relieved somewhat the Call of Duty fans because it will not be charged to play the online mode in Modern Warfare 3 or in other Call Of Duty games as expected, but it will be a service that will have differences among the benefits of the subscribed members and the benefits of the free service users. You can see the official Elite video in this post.

Call Of Duty: Elite is a service for all COD players and for the upcoming Black Ops Modern Warfare 3 which offers access to social networks and a lot of information and analysis of all the COD games, such as strategy tips, maps , weapons and contests. It will be available as a free version and a paid subscription service, which naturally have more advantages than the free service. Activision will provide an account that will work for all COD games. At this time COD Elite applies only to Black Ops, and it could also be implemented on Modern Warfare 2 in the future.

COD Elite will have a beta version this summer and you can register now to try to access the beta from the site of Call Of Duty . It is expected to be available later this year along with the release of Modern Warfare 3, we hope that on this E3 we can see more information about this two.
Personally I do not like the idea, I do not see it necessary. Now everyone can just search on the internet for strategies, images of maps and information about what you want and you can get all of that for free, I do not see why would you  have to pay a membership to get this information.

Dreamcast Portable Will Be Launched On Japan

DreamcastLooks like someone in Japan could not forget the Sega Dreamcast, the video game console which was released by Sega in late 1998 and was the successor to the Sega Saturn. It was the first console in the sixth generation of video game consoles, releasing before its contemporaries: Sony’s PlayStation 2, Microsoft’s Xbox and the Nintendo GameCube. So this person has worked to build a portable version of the Dreamcast console.

The price of this new device will be of 38,000 yen, about 470 dollars, and was designed for the Japanese retailer Pachimon TV; Sega has nothing to do with its production. Dreamcast Portable will be launched in June, but for that price I’d rather play the Dreamcast classic titles on any platform thanks for the many remakes that have been made before buying this improved game console.

Rumor: NGP Will Change Its Name To PlayStation Vita

NGPAccording to sources of the Pundit and Ripto Games sites, the official name of the next Sony portable console is PlayStation Vita.

As many  of you know, Vita means Life in italian. These sites received a scan of some information sheet from the E3 where you can see what we know today as the NGP but named Vita PlayStation.

On the other hand, seems to have also been discovered that the name of the new game of Uncharted for this new portable game console will be Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

Lets wait for more information about this on the Sony conference at E3.

First Gears Of War 3 Campaign Trailer

Gears Of War 3As promised, the first trailer for the campaign of Gears of War 3 was transmitted after the end of the Champions League final. The trailer begins with a scene that we already saw as a teaser trailer one week ago, a scene where you can see Marcus father, Adam, asking for Marcus’ help. It also shows some moments from the COG and Locust forces, and a new variant of enemy, the Lambent (mutated variant of the Locust, created from prolonged exposure to Imulsion.)

The plot of Gears of War 3 picks up 18 months after the end of Gears 2, and will close the book on the trilogy.

Gears Of War 3 will be available on stores on September 20th of this year, only for Xbox 360 and including three available versions: Standard, Limited and Epic.
